A German King's Palm Tree

In the German Alps stands a German king's palm tree. King Ludwig II of Bavaria's Moorish Kiosk
was designed by the Berliner architect Karl von Diebitsch for the International Exhibition in Paris 1867. He had it installed at his palace Linderhof.

    Unsual but why not...

    An old French song : Un oranger sur le sol irlandais ( an orange tree on Irish soil). In the song , the singer says : an orange tree on Irish soil , we'll never see it , but it doesn't matter because , you , my child , you are near me...
